Zip Code Zero · effective October 12, 2026
Zip Code Zero is a survival game set in the real streets of your town. This page explains which data the game uses, why, and what you can do about it. In short: no account, no analytics, your progress stays on your device. The only data leaving your phone is used to draw the map and, if you choose to watch an ad, to show it to you.
Who is responsible
The game is published by HBWeb, the data controller under the GDPR.

Data the game uses
1. Your location (optional)
When you tap “Around me” or “Start from home”, the game asks for your location. It is only used to build the map of the game around you. The game does not store it and does not track you in the background. You can refuse: you then pick a town from the list or by name.
To draw the map and the route, the coordinates of the starting point are sent to the map services listed below. They are not linked to any player identifier.
2. Towns you search for
The name of a town or address typed in the search box is sent to a geocoding service to find its coordinates.
3. Your progress
Coins, level, upgrades, road to the capital, bestiary and chosen outfit are stored only on your device. They are never sent to us. They are deleted if you uninstall the game or clear its data.
4. Advertising
The game never forces ads on you. You can choose to watch a short video to get a reward: revive, double your coins or receive bonus coins. These videos are served by Google AdMob, which may use the device’s advertising ID, IP address, phone model and language to show the ad, measure its display and prevent fraud.
On first launch, a Google form asks whether you accept personalized ads (in regions where consent is required). If you refuse, you will see non-personalized ads. You can change your mind at any time with the “Manage my ad choices” link in the game menu, or reset your advertising ID in Android settings. More information: how Google uses data from partner apps.
Third-party services
| Service | Used for | Data received |

Each of these services applies its own privacy policy. Map data comes from OpenStreetMap (© OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL license).
Legal basis
- Location and personalized ads: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- Map, search and route: providing the game you started.
- Non-personalized ads and fraud prevention: the legitimate interest of funding a free game.
No data is sold. The game contains no audience measurement tool.
Age
The game shows fights against zombies and is intended for players aged 13 and over. Ads are limited to content suitable for teenagers.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete, object to and restrict the processing of your data. Since the game keeps nothing on servers, most of these rights are exercised directly:
- delete your progress: uninstall the game or clear its data in Android settings;
- remove location access: Android settings, Apps, then Permissions;
- advertising: “Manage my ad choices” link in the game menu.
For any question, write to the contact address above. Residents of the European Union can also lodge a complaint with their data protection authority (in France, the CNIL).
Changes
This page may change with the game, for example if a new feature uses other data. The date at the top shows the last update.
